Waterfed Poles

A waterfed pole runs purified water through its shaft to a brush head at the top. The brush agitates the dirt, the water carries it off, and because the water has had its dissolved minerals stripped out it dries leaving nothing behind. No squeegee, no cloth, no finishing at height — which is what makes cleaning a triple-storey elevation from the pavement possible.

Aluminium or fibreglass

Aluminium is cheaper and stiffer. Fibreglass is lighter and less tiring at full extension, which matters more than it sounds when you are holding a pole overhead for six hours. If you clean occasionally, aluminium is fine; if this is your trade, the weight difference pays for itself.

Complete water fed pole kits

The pole is half the setup — it needs a water supply. Complete packages pair both: the 6 metre waterfed pole kit at R14,560 and the 9 metre waterfed pole kit at R16,660. A 15 litre electric mobile pump at R4,710 supplies pressure where there is no mains connection.
