A kit costs less than assembling the same parts separately and removes the guesswork about what fits what. Ours are sized either by the building or by the reach you need.

Which one to start with

For interiors and ground-floor work the basic kit is enough. For paid domestic rounds the single storey kit is the usual starting point — it covers houses and shopfronts and leaves you nothing to buy on the first job. Move up a size only when you are actually turning down taller work.

What a kit does not include

Kits cover the hand tools and the reach. They do not include a pure water system, which is the separate step that lets you clean double and triple storey without a squeegee finish — see waterfed poles and reverse osmosis systems.
