This page sets out your rights when you buy from Window Clean. They come from South African consumer law, and nothing here reduces them.
Changing your mind
Under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, if you bought as a consumer you may cancel an online order within 7 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason and without penalty. The only cost to you is the direct cost of sending the goods back. Please return everything that came in the box. We refund the payment within 30 days of the cancellation.
Faulty goods
Under section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, goods must be of good quality and free of defects. If an item is faulty within 6 months of delivery, you may return it without penalty, at our risk and expense, and choose a repair, a replacement or a refund.
Parts that are made to wear out with use, such as squeegee rubbers and washer sleeves, are not faulty when they wear down through normal use.
Damaged or missing on delivery
Check your parcel when it arrives and phone us as soon as possible if something is damaged or missing.
How to return something
- Phone 076 142 1579 with your order number and tell us what is wrong.
- We will confirm where to send the item.
- Once it arrives we will repair, replace or refund it as set out above. Refunds go back to the payment method you used.
