Window Cleaning Squeegees

A window cleaning squeegee takes the water off the glass in one stroke, so nothing is left behind to dry into streaks. It works in a pair with a washer, which wets the pane and loosens the dirt first. Everything else in this range is detail work around those two tools.

Why the rubber is the part that matters

The blade carries the working edge. Once that edge rounds over it pushes a film of water instead of cutting it off, and a single nick draws a line down every pane you touch. Rubber is the cheapest item in the kit and the one that decides whether the customer calls you back, so replace it early rather than fighting it.

Wipe the blade between strokes, and store the squeegee flat or blade-up — never resting on the edge.

Choosing a window squeegee width

35cm crosses a normal domestic pane in one or two passes and stays controllable. Wider blades cover shopfronts faster but need even pressure across the whole width. Narrower blades are for glazing bars and small panes.
